Travmo's Top Ten Songs Aug. 9 to Aug. 15, 2010 (Spokane Vacation)

Key: W=weeks on the chart, H= higest position on the chart

Spokane now has two pop/rnb radio stations and they are LOVING Enrique Iglesius, as well as Nikki Minaj.  And so am I!  They are my top two.  Enrique and Pitbull might be around for awhile!

1.  Enrique Iglesius featuring Pitbull - I Like It (W-2,H-1)
This song is so terrific.  I love that he's back and on top in the US!

2. Nicki Minaj - Your Love (W-1,H-2)
This song finally made it on the list after being on my radar for weeks.  I think it took Spokane radio to take it over the edge.  It's played non-stop in Spokane.  Love the video!

3.  Janelle Monae - Tightrope (W-5,H-2)

One of the most popular songs of the summer, she is charting high with the debut of her new video (which also charted), So You Think You Can Dance performance (the same episode I was on) and...the introduction of her to my dad, who is also impressed.  Here she is LIVE on So You Think You Can Dance!  Go Janelle!

4.  B.o.B featuring Bruno Mars - Nothing On You (W-2,H-4)

B.o.B and Bruno Mars are everywhere.  But it all started with this great song which I had my dad watch the video for this week.  He already knew the song.  Who doesn't!  I love this song!

5.  Janelle Monae - Cold War (W-1,H5)

Janelle's second single of of Archandroid is mesmerizing.  Done in one-take you learn the story of Metropolis while seeing Janelle in pure emotion.

6.  Taio Cruz - Dynamite (W-3,H-2)

Still doing well on the chart although down from his highest charting of 2.  I keep wondering if his first single (Break Your Heart) might have some life in it to chart on my list.  So far it hasn't, but it certainly has the potential if it gets some airplay.

7. Flo Rida featuring David Guetta -
The Club Can't Handle Me (W-1,H-7)

This is the song that I learned the routine for So You Think You Can Dance.  A fun song.  Fitting since this was National Dance Day Week.

8.  Lady Gaga - Boys Boys Boys (W-2,H-8)

They played this at a "gay" club in Spokane (not very gay).  I think it was the only song that truly brought the boys out.

9.  Usher featuring Pitbull - DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again (W-1,H-9)

I'm so not a fan of Usher's face or behavior but there is no denying that Raymond vs. Raymond is an incredible cd (I might need to get it) and with this brand new "dance" song (his first?) he is definitely on the top of my list.  I'm thinking this song will do VERY well on the chart in the next few weeks...

10.  Usher featuring Nicki Minaj - Lil Freak (W-1,H-10)

This dark song was also played at the club in Spokane and although I always liked it, it finally charted this week.  A great week for Usher on the chart! EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND! love it.
